Department of science and humanities at APN has the vision to nurture and inculcate knowledge of engineering science and personality development in the students so that they can think critically and logically, communicate clearly and live ethically. To prepare the students to play a major role in contributing to the ever-changing global society.
To develop a strong scientific foundation and pursue a successful engineering career. To motivate the students to think and apply new ideas of research in science and technology. The department aims at making students confident in the English language by training them in all the skills of the language.
There are no secret to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure. I feel proud to introduce to you the first-year science and the humanities department which is the foundation of engineering students. The department offers courses in science, mathematics and English. Qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members of the department have been making their constant effort to improve the student’s knowledge and understanding. Besides teaching the faculty have been publishing research papers in several journals of national and international repute. We have well equipped physics, chemistry and ICT labs. Personal attention and academic support are given to each and every student so that they become promising engineers. The aim of first year faculty is to equip the students to apply the knowledge of basic science and humanities.
